It’s on.
The 2008 elections are starting to rev up. Today, Hillary Clinton announced the formation of her exploratory committee. This, I believe, makes this the most diverse collective of candidates for POTUS we have ever seen that have a real shot a winning.
Clinton – would be first female and first ex-first lady to be POTUS
Obama – would be first African-American/mixed race POTUS
Richardson – would be first Latino POTUS
We’re not forgetting Edwards, Biden, Dodd, Kucinich, Vilsack. But for me, I would love to see Clinton/Obama on the ticket in 11/2008. There is a long road we must travel before we get there but we will. I’m excited to see how this will all pan out. Any way you slice it, we have reached a turning point in our country. The people are starting to speak. Make your voice loud enough so they can hear what you have to say and remember that actions speak louder than words.
