New Year…New Post
Hello 2007! I’ve finally stopped writing 2006 when I date things so I guess it’s time to write a post.
The holidays were (almost) relaxing and NYE was great (better than expected). We’re all back to work and eagerly anticipating the next holiday break. Unfortunately, I get neither MLK Day or Presidents Day off so I’ll be waiting until Good Friday for a long weekend. I didn’t make any resolutions because, well, I usually end up breaking them. But I am trying some things this year. If it works out, I’ll let you know.
What else can I say…
* The White Rapper Show is the BEST show ever.
* I have no words left for GWB. I can’t watch him talk anymore. He makes me so ill. He is the boy in the bubble. Nothing is changing while he is still in office. I can’t comprehend how ANYONE could have tried to impeach Clinton over a BJ and yet GWB is still chillin as the “decider.” Clinton’s lied didn’t kill anyone.
* On that political note…I am excited to see Nancy Pelosi take office as the first female Speaker of the House and the fact that the Dems have taken control of the House & Senate. I’m really hoping that they will be able to make the changes this country is looking for.
* And I’m really looking forward to the 2008 Presidential race. It’s gonna heat up baby. I’m no political genius but I’ve gone through a few scenarios in my head. At this early point, I would like a H. Clinton/B. Obama ticket. And when her terms are up, he can take over. Not sure who the Reps will bring to the table. Rudy was ousted early so not sure how this will affect his decision to run or his campaign. I don’t think Bloomberg will run, but who knows. I have to say that If it had to go to the Reps, I’d pick him. He’s not a real Republican anyway.
