Tornados in Brooklyn
Say what?
And the MTA issued a blanket order to commuters to stay home, don’t ride the subway.
New York is crazy!

So here’s a summary of the past 5 months – I quit the job I hated, I went back to the job I thought I used to hate but now love, I took a 2nd gig, I saved enough to finally move out on my own, I bought grown up furniture.
It’s been a busy 5 months, let me tell you. My discontent over the past year had gotten to be enough of a burden that I had no other choice but to start over. I quit my job. I quit before I had a new one, telling everyone that I was going freelance. I was, but inside I was scared shitless that I wasn’t going to get any work. Thank the high heavens that I got a few offers at the same time and I was able to go back to the production world that I love/hate. Now I’m working back at the emteevee while moonlighting at another production company and working on some of my own projects. I’ve definitely been working much longer and harder days, sometimes weekends, but I am a thousand times happier than I was at RR.
