SUPER-DUPER TUESDAY!!!
First, a shout-out to Big Blue…The Super Bowl Champions…NY Giants!!!! *insert roars and confetti here* Those Manning brothers sure do know how to throw that football. Sorry Hot Tom Brady, looks like little Eli stole your thunder. Don’t worry though, Tom. You’re still the hottest QB around.
On to the really important stuff.
It is Super Tuesday folks. Time to head out, if you haven’t already to vote for your candidate. As I’ve been saying for a while, my vote went to Hillary Clinton for a variety of reasons you can read about below. If your opinion differs from mine, that’s OK. Please just vote. It’s such an important right as Americans. Being that I am a citizen by naturalization, I never realized how great of a power it was until I could actually do it. While I missed the 2000 election by just a few months (I became an official US Citizen in Jan. 2001), the 2004 elections really fired me up. I voted democratically, and we, as a people, lost.
But now, 4 years later, I have submersed myself in all things political for this election. I’ve been watching all the debates, reading the papers, the blogs, talking to people about what their beliefs are, why they think so-and-so is the better candidate, etc. Let me tell you that I’ve never been so excited about politics in my life. It is exciting. And this election is historic.
Please…be a part of history and vote.
More blogging as the day continues and poll results start to come in.
