OK. I’m *almost* wrapped out on Fashion Wars (airing on the CW this summer). The Canadians will be here in a few hours and I get to see 2 of my lovely friends. It’s been too long since I’ve seen them last.

Before I knew who Seth Rogen,Jason Segel, Judd Apatow, and James Franko were, I loved them all. “Freaks and Geeks” was one of those shows that everyone connected with on some level. We were all outcasts in some way, shape or form growing up. We were all just trying to fit in and be cool.
As I grew up, I started to learn that it is the freaks and geeks that make this world what it is. It is those of us who are unique and can separate from the pack that can lead it. This show was brilliant! They don’t make shows like this anymore.
Ahh…I see the light at the end of the tunnel. This show is coming to a close. I’m making plans for a vacation/road trip with friends from Canadia. Zaki Ibrahim will be performing in NYC at Joe’s Pub on May 1st and at Black Lily in Philly on May 3rd. Be there! I’ll for sure be there cheering for my old friend who is making her dream a reality.
It’s so great to see the people you love & admire so happy, inspired and ALIVE. It in turn inspires me.
