It’s 2009!!!

It’s been another hot minute and a lot has happened over the past 2 months, again keeping me so busy that I haven’t been updating my blog. So a belated Merry Christmas/Chanukah/Festivus/Kwanza to you all. And of course, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I think 2009 will be an amazing year. We will have a new President shortly and it already feels as if change has begun. People are already feeling uplifted around the country and around the world. I think the momentum will carry us through the next four years, and hopefully at least the next eight.

I should tell you that I send my greetings from South Africa. Yes, here I am halfway around the world in Jozi (Johannesburg) tell you all what an amazing place this is. I’ve met some wonderful people. I think I’m starting my year off right. I’ve always wanted to travel around the world and here I am jumping off in Jozi.

That is 2009 is going to be about…at least for me. It’s time to explore the world like I’ve always wanted. It’s taken me *cough* years to get to where I am and now, I’m going to enjoy it, damnit. I’m going to take my work and skills with me and see what I can bring to other places in exchange for a life less ordinary.

You see my friends, in case you didn’t already know, I am a work-a-holic. But I love my work and I love being able to choose the projects I work on. And from this point forward, I’m not going to let pre-defined boundaries, oceans, continents, time zones or my own fear of failing stop me. What ever idea I have in my head to pursue, I’m going to pursue it.

This is not a new years resolution. This is my life. And it’s time I started living it.

I wish you all the greatest love, prosperity and wealth (it what ever form you want that wealth to come in) in this and all the years to come.
