Minnie Riperton – Les Fleur
One of my favorite albums of ever is brought to you by the voice of an angel and the vision of one of our greatest musical minds of all time. Minnie Riperton‘s “Come to My Garden” is hailed as a masterpiece by many critics. Produced, arranged, and orchestrated by the great Charles Stepney, it is a timeless piece of music that evokes emotions in me that are usually reserved for special occasions that end in tears of joy. Even if you’re no fan of Rotary Connection (let’s be honest, it gets weird sometimes), “Come to My Garden” will make you smile upon first listen. I mean, who doesn’t want an angel singing in their ear?
