Summertime in the City
I don’t really want to say it but I think I must. I’m already seeing leaves fall to the ground and I don’t need my A/C on blast when I sleep. I’m using the comforter again…waking up cold is not OK.
Yes..Summer in winding down and fall is nearing.
But Fall is so lovely in New York so we’ll be fine. We’ll be wearing tall boots instead of gladiator sandals and flip flops. We’ll be rockin’ the hipster scarves and vintage-esque pea coats instead of sun dresses and shorts. I get to break out my collection of hats.
So, I say to Summer, thank you for a wonderful time. I’ll see you again soon. Until then…cheers to you.
